The Neurodiagnostic Department at wavepro.org offers training in Electroneurodiagnostic Technology (EEG). Practitioners in this specialize field study and record the electrical activity of the central, peripheral and autonomic nervous systems utilizing state-of-the-art equipment. Wavepro.org provides students with the skills and competencies needed to record, monitor, and analyze the nervous systems functions. EEG technologists work in collaboration with physicians, researchers and other healthcare practitioners to assist in providing crucial data in the assessment and diagnosis of neurological disorders such as stroke, epilepsy, coma, degenerative disorders and neurological trauma.
Our Exceptional faculty and curriculums combine to make wavepro.org a nationally recognized comprehensive NDT program that promotes pioneering educational opportunities for adult learners interested in a career in neurodiagnostic. The NDT programs at wavepro.org are designed to provide adult learners with theory and clinical experience in a range of NDT procedures. Learners will obtain the necessary competencies needed to become a competent NDT technologist and acquire registration.
Courses are thought through web-based software along with one-on-one clinical collaboration with a registered technologist. The complete fundamental of EEG course length is six months and includes instruction in rEEG, aEEG, cEEG, avEEG, LTM, and ECoG. Courses are offered bi-annually. Clinical experience will be done at a pre-approved clinical site where learners will attain hands on experience. Learners will have access to the complete EEG registration guide course for 1 year. Learners must be highly motivated and willing to work at a fast pace.
